The ideal candidate should have experience in building vendor relationships, managing inventory, and developing a team. This person will be flexible, action and results oriented, self-starting, have strong analytical skills, and be comfortable with computer databases and tools. This person must also have a proven track record in taking ownership, driving results and moving with speed to implement ideas in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to succeed at understanding and driving improvements across the full profit and loss statement, team-building, planning and forecasting, and driving sales in an online business.Responsibilities Include:Develop and lead strategy for all vendor relationships on an annual basis Recruit new vendors and merchants to the platform to fuel selection addition Manage inputs and performance indicators for the Sporting Goods category Drive customer experience projects Optimize inventory for high in-stock rates, high inventory turns and low unhealthy inventory through programmatic efforts Work cross functionally to reduce supply chain costs and improve unit economics Develop and execute merchandising, marketing and merchant addition strategy on an annual basis Develop and lead team of functional leaders Improve automation and ...
