The emarketing department is central in leading Abbott’s (pharma) overall web marketing activities, as we continue to invest heavily to attract, grow, and retain customers to our critical online channel. The emarketing team works in concert with our global marketing and marcom (US) team to quickly move the company to a web-centric business. To support the regional Director of Digital Strategy, this person will have knowledge and utilize the best in class SEM software tools, analytical tools including Omniture and Abbott/pharma’s other search engine and analytics platform(s). This person will also drive on the regional best practices for emarketing, mobile strategies and SEM/SEO. The Digital Marketing Manager will also have brand compliance responsibility and help guide innovation, integration and interactive marketing within the on-market and pipeline products.
