Rain Bird Europe’s General Manager will provide the leadership for this important business.  She/he will be responsible for setting the strategies and implementing the actions necessary for achieving the Corporate Guidelines in Continental Europe. The General Manager will be working with his/her direct reports in the areas of sales, quality, marketing, distribution, finance, human resources and operations to achieve the desired results for the business.  Rain Bird Europe’s General Manager will actively participate in and influence Rain Bird International’s Strategic Planning. Responsibilities: Achieve Rain Bird International Corporate Guidelines in Europe Meet sales and profit goals for Rain Bird Europe , ensuring specific market objectives are identified and achieved Grow services business in Europe Build good working relationships with Rain Bird Europe’s key distributors and customers Work with the different Strategic Business Unit (SBU) managers to ensure that Rain Bird Europe’s needs are supported and ensure that Rain Bird Europe adequately supports the SBUs’ objectives Identify, prioritize and pursue business broadening opportunities in Europe Work closely with the International Business Manager for Eastern and Eastern Central Europe Supervise and ensure succes ...
