Experteer Overview
As a Controls Software Engineer at INNIO you will develop core controls software for gas engine products used in power generation. You will specify, implement, and test new features and control algorithms while shaping next‑gen systems for improved efficiency and safety. You will work on engine-gen-set integrations within complex electric grid contexts and support site commissioning across Europe and the US. This is a hands-on role in an innovative, international environment with a clear impact on scalable, reliable energy solutions. Responsabilités
- Develop core controls software for gas engine products used in electricity and heat production
- Specify, implement, and test new software features and control algorithms
- Design next-generation controls systems for enhanced efficiency, transient performance, and safety/cyber security compliance
- Create innovative control solutions for engine gen-set applications in complex electric grid topologies
Principales exigences
- Bachelor or Master degree or equivalent experience
- Proficient in Matlab and/or other high-level programming languages
- Knowledge of simulations and Simulink is a plus
- Strong foundation in internal combustion engines and control theory
- Fluent English, written and spoken; experience in technical documentation
- Willingness to travel 2–3 times per year within Europe and the US
- Valid Austrian work permit (non-EU citizens: attach permit with application)
