In this senior role, you own EU active substance strategy under Regulation (EC) 1107/2009, guiding complex dossiers from strategy to defence. You will influence long-term portfolio decisions and interact with EFSA and RMS across Europe. The position integrates regulatory insight with R&D, commercial, and supply chain to enable market access at scale. You’ll thrive in a fully remote, cross-country team while shaping regulatory strategy alongside senior stakeholders. This is a strategic partner role with meaningful influence on substance direction and lifecycle planning.
Responsabilités
- Lead regulatory strategy and execution for active substance dossiers under EU Regulation (EC) 1107/2009 (new approvals, renewals, defence)
- Oversee preparation, submission, and maintenance of complex dRR dossiers at EU and zonal level
- Act as the technical lead for active substance regulatory matters across the EMEA region
- Manage interactions with EU authorities including EFSA, RMS, and national competent authorities
- Support cross-functional product development and lifecycle management decisions with regulatory input
- Monitor regulatory developments and assess impact on portfolio and long-term planning
- Provide guidance to internal stakeholders ensuring alignment between regulatory strategy and business priorities
- Represent the company in relevant industry or technical working groups when required
Principales exigences
- 10 to 15+ years of experience in EU regulatory affairs within crop protection
- Extensive hands-on experience with active substance registrations under Regulation (EC) 1107/2009
- Strong track record managing complex EU and zonal dossiers, including dRR ownership
- Deep understanding of EFSA processes, EU peer review, and regulatory decision-making pathways
- Scientific background in regulatory sciences (toxicology, ecotoxicology, environmental fate, or chemistry) advantageous
- Proven ability to manage multi-stakeholder regulatory projects across Europe
- Strong communication skills and confidence engaging with authorities and senior internal stakeholders
- Comfortable working in a fully remote, international environment
