In this role you will verify and analyze emissions data for the maritime sector, ensuring compliance with evolving environmental regulations. You will work within Bureau Veritas Marine & Offshore in Rotterdam to support a carbon‑reduction agenda and communicate findings to clients. You will stay current with laws like EU ETS, IMO DCS, MRV and CII while contributing to sustainable shipping practices. This is a dynamic, growth‑oriented team opportunity with flexible hours and a clear environmental impact.

Responsabilités

Inspect, certify and verify emissions data from ships
Verify data provided by vessels for compliance regimes
Stay up‑to‑date on emerging environmental laws and regulations and apply them to work
Communicate findings and current assignments to clients
Support data analysis and interpretation to improve environmental performance

Principales exigences

Bachelor's or Master's in a technical field (preferably maritime engineering or related)
Experience with reporting vessel CO₂ emissions in compliance with IMO DCS, EU/UK MRV, CII and EU ETS
Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret data
Customer‑oriented with strong communication skills
Affinity with the shipbuilding industry
Strong commitment to environmental protection and sustainability
