As a Functional Application Specialist, you bridge Business and IT to optimize engineering processes using Cadmatic Hull. You will support the CAD platform across the product lifecycle, driving efficiency in engineering workflows. You’ll work with cross-functional stakeholders and suppliers to implement functional solutions and training. This role offers impact on shipbuilding projects and the chance to shape how engineering data and CAD tools support complex vessels. You join a security-conscious, partnership-driven naval division focused on innovative design and practice.

Responsabilités

Translate engineering needs into functional specifications for application developments
Analyze issues with stakeholders and devise practical solutions
Develop and implement application processes and functionalities
Maintain relationships with suppliers and knowledge partners
Manage interfaces between applications and Cadmatic Hull
Maintain user access rights administration within the application
Setup and configure project environments within Cadmatic Hull
Manage catalogs, libraries, specifications, and other project data setup
Organize application-related training in coordination with the Manager Engineering Support
Provide functional support to PLM/CAD users regarding Cadmatic Hull
Prepare and develop Cadmatic training materials, tips, documentation, and user manuals

Principales exigences

Bachelor degree or proven competence in engineering (preferably Shipbuilding)
Proficiency with Cadmatic platform
Knowledge of PLM principles and experience with functional application management (preferred)
Excellent English; Dutch language is advantageous
Ability to work in Vlissingen and Schiedam, Netherlands
Strong references for security screening as part of recruitment
Permanent EU citizenship and passport required; non-EU nationals not eligible due to military nature
