In this leadership role, you will steer Datadog’s AI Platform across scale, guiding a growing team to deliver end-to-end AI development—from training to deployment and monitoring. You’ll shape the technical vision, roadmaps, and organizational structure, collaborating with partner teams to integrate AI across products and infrastructure. You’ll drive a customer-focused engineering culture while enabling rapid iteration on a strategic, early-stage AI initiative.

Responsabilités
- Lead an expanding organization of ~20 people across 2–3 teams, defining the roadmap and technical direction
- Collaborate with engineering and product management to shape future roadmaps and alignment with business goals
- Foster a strong engineering culture centered on standards and customer-centric delivery
- Support full AI lifecycle including model training, serving, deployment and monitoring
- Partner with AI platform, Applied AI, product engineering, and infrastructure teams to build scalable systems from the ground up
Principales exigences
- Led teams that built 0→1 ML/AI platforms with emphasis on Open Source Tooling (Ray/AnyScale)
- Experienced engineer with ability to influence technical direction
- People leader who has managed managers and built high-performing software teams
- Track record of delivering high-quality software on schedule and collaborating with product partners
- Interest in early-stage projects with high ambiguity and fast iteration cycles
