Experteer Overview

In this role you will lead firmware and software efforts for embedded networking in wired connectivity systems. You’ll work closely with Field Applications Engineers, customers, and R&D to integrate Linux/RTOS, customize BSPs, and refine Ethernet/IP stacks. You will diagnose complex technical issues, generate customer-ready documentation, and help elevate product reliability and experience. The role combines hands-on engineering with technical leadership and cross‑functional collaboration.

Responsabilités

Expert in Linux/RTOS system integration, porting, and software package usage
Customize Ethernet/L2/L3 software and modify BSP to meet system specs
Analyze and debug customer and technical issues with global teams
Create and review product collateral, support packages, and tool usage guides
Collaborate with Engineering to improve product reliability, quality, and experience
Develop test cases and plans for system validation
Provide product and technical training for EMEA/USA FAE teams
Willingness to travel as required

Principales exigences

Extensive software/firmware development experience in embedded space (C)
Deep knowledge of IP networking, Ethernet, and protocol stacks
Experience with Linux driver integration and API modifications
Knowledge of communication systems; Linux and embedded systems familiarity
RTOS operation experience; Python (preferred)
Lab instruments including protocol and network traffic analyzers
Strong problem-solving and communication skills in English
Technical leadership experience or hardware skills (asset)
15+ years experience with BS or 10+ years with MS in Electrical Engineering or related
