In this Technical Project Manager role, you will lead the technical development of Mercury’s newest products for mission-critical aerospace and defense applications. You’ll coordinate cross-functional engineering teams to move concepts from whiteboard to fielded systems, while managing schedule, budget, and risk. You’ll serve as the main link between the engineering team and stakeholders to ensure customer-aligned delivery. This role offers impact at scale, shaping integrated hardware-software solutions in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsabilités

Lead cross-functional coordination across electrical, mechanical, software, system architecture, integration, quality, and documentation teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery
Act as primary liaison between engineering projects and Operations, Program Management, Product Management, Technical Support, and Senior Leadership
Own project success by delivering within budget and schedule while meeting customer expectations
Engage stakeholders to understand business needs, report status, and build relationships to minimize risk
Develop comprehensive project plans with risk mitigation, tasks, budgets, deliverables, dependencies, and resources
Oversee deliverables and adjust priorities to optimize quality, timeliness, and flexibility
Facilitate synchronization and clear communication among all project team members and stakeholders
Collaborate with Senior Management to resolve resource allocation and organizational challenges
Tackle complex issues requiring in-depth analysis across disciplines

Principales exigences

Bachelor's degree in engineering or a STEM discipline
6+ years in a design engineering role
Experience in aerospace and defense projects and formal design reviews
Project management experience in new hardware product development
Experience with scheduling, tracking, and risk management tools and methodologies
Experience implementing process improvements across engineering organizations
Experience with full product development lifecycle (requirements through manufacturing release)
Experience delivering technical presentations to internal and external stakeholders

Strong communication and stakeholder management Mentoring and personnel development Problem solving with cross-disciplinary input Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence)System and subsystem integration in complex hardware/software environments Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS)
