In this role you will support the Sustainable Finance Team in acquiring and delivering development projects in the private and public sector. You will help prepare expressions of interest, draft input for technical and financial offers, and contribute to business development. You will assist project implementation, manage documents, coordinate with partners, and conduct market and policy research related to sustainable finance tools and standards. You will help control budgets, invoicing, and reporting, and support events and trainings. This position offers exposure to EU-funded and international projects within a mission-driven organization.
Responsabilités
- Support acquisition of development projects in private and public financial sectors; compile expressions of interest and contribute to offers.
- Assist project implementation including handling correspondence, document processing, and coordinating with partners and stakeholders.
- Provide input to project deliverables and conduct applied context research (market assessments, stakeholder consultations, technical inputs on sustainable finance solutions).
- Support project controlling: invoicing, budget control, reporting, and maintaining project documentation.
- Organize and contribute to events, workshops, and training sessions; assist with presentations and logistics.
Principales exigences
- University degree in relevant field.
- Knowledge of sustainable finance and related standards (ESMS, ESG, climate-related disclosures).
- Experience in public finance and administration; familiarity with governance and regulatory frameworks; mobilizing private finance for green projects.
- Professional experience in international projects; knowledge of EU-funded projects desirable.
- Fluency in English and at least one other language (French/Portuguese/Spanish); German a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Office; strong research and analytical skills; ability to formulate analyses succinctly.
- Experience with quantitative/data-driven approaches; knowledge of econometrics; programming in Python or STATA is an advantage; familiarity with qualitative data approaches.
