As Route Development Manager you drive profitable growth for Ocean Freight by targeting SME customers and key accounts. You’ll align product priorities and plans with company strategy, and bridge commercial teams with product and operations to accelerate growth. You will organize trade initiatives and leverage market intelligence to support sales. This role combines strategy, cross‑border trade knowledge, and analytics to expand our ocean footprint.

Responsabilités
- Drive profitable growth from new and existing SME customers
- Sponsor selected accounts for national escalations and pricing decisions
- Define Ocean Freight product priorities and business plan for routes and US territory
- Evaluate and implement product-related services to catalyze growth
- Organize bi-lateral trade summits and support in-country sales planning
- Leverage trade analytics and market intelligence to back the sales team
- Serve as a bridge between commercial/customers and Ocean Freight product/operations
Principales exigences
- Bachelor's degree in a business discipline and 5-10 years of related experience
- Strong ocean freight product and pricing knowledge
- Thorough understanding of the sales process and business development strategy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Interpersonal skills including conflict management and negotiation
- Cross-cultural competence and cultural sensitivity
- Self-starter with planning and organizing skills; willingness to share knowledge
- Understanding of continuous improvement methodologies
- Knowledge of Word, Excel, and Power Point
- Fluent in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus
