As (Senior) Manager R&D Enzymes Strain Engineering, you lead the Enzyme House team within the Center for Food Innovation to advance enzyme strain development and screening. You translate business needs into R&D strategy, drive multidisciplinary collaboration, and ensure high-quality, safe delivery of projects. You will shape production-relevant strain improvements and mentor a specialist group in a fast-growing, science-led function. Responsabilités

Lead and develop a team of specialists in enzyme strain engineering
Oversee resource planning and project alignment for timely R&D delivery
Act as technical lead for enzyme screening and strain development in multidisciplinary teams
Translate business needs into actionable R&D strategies and workplans
Interpret, analyse, and communicate experimental results to stakeholders
Champion quality, safety, and well-being within the team

Principales exigences

PhD or equivalent experience in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, or Microbiology
Expertise in enzyme expression and/or strain engineering (filamentous fungal, bacterial, or yeast)
Over 5 years’ experience in life sciences, R&D, or innovation environments
Proven project and/or people management skills
Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and ability to manage complexity
Collaborative, communicative approach and fluency in English
