In this role you will lead regulatory processes for a global chemicals business, ensuring compliance across food contact, cosmetics, healthcare, and other sensitive markets. You’ll align regulatory activities with R&D, commercial teams, and international subsidiaries to enable product development and market access. You drive cross-regional consistency, shape regulatory strategies, and lead complex regulatory inquiries and audits. This is a high-ownership, strategic position in a well-established yet evolving regulatory function with strong visibility and growth impact.

Responsabilités

Lead development and optimisation of regulatory processes and internal guidelines
Monitor regulatory developments across multiple markets (food contact, cosmetics, healthcare, etc.)
Manage complex customer regulatory requests and prepare technical documentation and compliance statements
Oversee preparation and submission of regulatory documents (petitions, position papers, conformity assessments)
Provide expert regulatory support to international subsidiaries and cross-regional teams
Support and lead regulatory aspects of customer audits and compliance reviews
Collaborate with R&D to enable compliant product development and commercialization
Evaluate regulatory impact of formulation, raw material, and process changes across sites
Supervise regulatory deliverables ensuring quality, consistency, and timely delivery
Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior staff
Contribute to cross-functional and strategic regulatory projects

Principales exigences

Degree (Master, PhD, or Engineering) in Chemistry or related scientific discipline
Approximately 8–12 years of Regulatory Affairs experience in chemicals
Strong knowledge of regulated markets (food contact materials, cosmetics, healthcare, etc.)
Solid understanding of key chemical regulations (REACH, CLP)
Proven ability to manage complex regulatory topics and stakeholder interactions
Experience in international or multi-site environment
Strong analytical thinking and decision-making capability
Ability to operate autonomously and influence cross-functional teams
Experience with SAP or similar systems is advantageous
Fluent English (professional level)
